Robert Half Technology is seeking Help Desk Analysts to provide seasonal tax software support for our client's growing customer base. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced and emerging technical support professionals that would like to gain additional skills in financial software while delivering excellent customer service. To be successful in this role, you should be a creative problem solver who enjoys working in a dynamic and rapidly-changing work environment. Because this role is very visible within the company, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the department and organization. The duration of the position is from November 2016 – April 2017. Training is provided for qualified hires and interviews will begin soon!

Job Duties:

• Overall support of our client's products through telephone, email and live chat customer support channels

• Work directly with the support staff to assist with the daily tasks of servicing our customers answering account and product related questions and also general technical troubleshooting of all products and services offered by our client, including 3rd party partners

• Provide a positive, upbeat experience with all customer interactions and resolve issues and escalations quickly and professionally

• Work a flexible schedule consisting of nights, weekends and anticipated overtime during tax season

Required Skills & Qualities:

• High School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred

• Work history including phone & email support in an end user support related environment

• Knowledge & work experience with browser based applications

• Work experience with the Microsoft Windows operating systems, software applications & internet browsers

• Can operate multiple system applications and screens at the same time

• Can quickly search and navigate within web browsers to locate answers

• Skilled at keyboarding for use of database documentation

• Capability of utilizing resources provided for quick issue resolution

• Knowledge & work experience with Microsoft products, the Internet & Social Media

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills & overall professionalism

• Exceptional multi-tasking & organizational skills & quick to learn new procedures
